SBHI - Branches: An Introduction
The SBHI Branches provide a vital link between members, the SBHI National Resource Centre and the SBHI Board of Directors.
Many of the Branches organise and run very valuable programs such as computer training, occupational and physiotherapy services, and activity based events.
SBHI Branch meetings are also an important asset for SBHI where parents gather together to exchange support and guidance to each other, where members can bring about change by lobbying issues with their committee, and where the essential event of meeting with others socially can take place.
SBHI - Branch Structure
SBHI's regional Branches provide services to its members on a local level. Each SBHI Branch is represented by an elected voluntary committee made up of the following positions:
- Branch Administrator
- Membership Development Officer, and
- So many Committee Members as the Members of the Branch deem necessary for the conduct of the affairs of the Branch
This committee also sits on the NEC (National Executive Committee) where issues are brought to the CEO of SBHI and which are thus representative of each SBHI Branch area.
We have branches in the following areas:
- Louth / Meath
- Mayo / Leitrim / Roscommon
