SBHI Annual Conference 2018 – Fulfilling Potential

The 2018 SBHI Annual Conference will take place in the CityNorth Hotel, Co. Meath on Friday 25th May with a welcoming reception by RTE's Darragh Maloney and continuing on Saturday, 26th May with a full day of talks and presentations under the headline theme, Fulfilling Potential.

The opening presentation will be from John Fulham, President of Paralympics Ireland followed by Lorraine Dempsey of the Special Needs Parents Association speaking on the topic 'Dare to Care', giving perspectives on taking care of both ourselves and others. SBHI members Mary King, Frank Larkin, Jane McDermott, and Gerard Malone will present their perspectives on what potential looks like. Following lunch, the conference afternoon will offer workshops for families with children aged up to 17 years; Peer Support for teens and younger adults; and Peer Support for older adults.

The day will end with a Gala Dinner and great entertainment.

The National AGM will follow on Sunday, 27th May for all company members to attend.
